DUO
Brand identity and a 200-page proposal design for a Manhattan mixed-use development bidding on one of the last major undeveloped parcels in the city.

Role
Brand identity, logo, proposal design, layout, information design across a 200+ page RFP response
Context
DUO Development Group was competing for the Intrepid Lot RFP: a ~1.1M-square-foot mixed-use development on Manhattan's West Side. Winning meant submitting a proposal that could carry dense, high-stakes material — market studies, financials, architectural vision, community plans — while looking as considered and credible as the development itself.
Output
A complete brand identity and a 200+ page proposal document with a cohesive design system that made a massive, complex bid read as clear, confident, and polished from cover to close.
Full deck available upon request.
The brief
Make a 200-page bid feel like one confident argument.
An RFP response like this is unforgiving: hundreds of pages of market data, legal letters, financial models, architectural renderings, and community commitments, all of which have to hold together and signal that this team is the one to trust with a landmark project. I built the DUO identity, starting with a logo that captures the two-tower concept, and designed the entire proposal around it: a consistent typographic and layout system that gives structure to dense information, lets the architecture breathe, and carries a reader from vision through the fine print without ever losing the thread. The goal was for the document itself to feel as high-quality and resolved as the building it proposed.
Key moves
01 · A two-tower logo and identity for the DUO concept
02 · A design system to structure 200+ pages of complex content
03 · Consistent design across data, renderings, and narrative
A landmark bid, designed to convince.
A landmark bid, designed to convince.
The finished proposal gave DUO Development Group a submission that matched the ambition of the project, turning an enormous volume of technical material into a single, cohesive, confident argument for one of Manhattan's most significant development opportunities.
