Who's the Boss?
Who's the Boss?
Who's the Boss?
A five-episode Instagram interview series spotlighting the business owners inside City Point Brooklyn — built to feel personal, local, and made for the scroll.
Role
Concept, direction, interviewing, cinematography, sound, editing, and series branding
Context
City Point Brooklyn wanted to spotlight the range of businesses under its roof — and reach a local audience through short-form social video.
Output
A repeatable interview format with consistent branding, delivered as five minute-long clips built for Instagram.
The brief
Put a face to the businesses people walk past every day.
The series needed to capture each owner's personality and story while showing the breadth of the property — from Brooklyn's largest food hall to an innovative tennis club to a buzzy cookie brand. I kept the tone warm and conversational, the shoots lightweight, and the edits fast — highlighting each unique founder and fun facts without losing the minute-long pace social demands.
Key moves
01 · Conversational interview questions
02 · Lightweight director-and-editor production
03 · Consistent series branding
Five owners, five

The finished series gave City Point Brooklyn a recurring way to showcase its tenants: five distinct businesses under one consistent format. The clips resonated, pulling in hundreds of likes, dozens of comments, and steady shares across Instagram.
