Zygi
Zygi
A free platform that helps intended parents navigate IVF and surrogacy, designed and built to bring clarity to one of life's most overwhelming processes.
Role
Founder, product design, UX, user flows built with Claude
Context
IVF and surrogacy are financially, medically, and emotionally complex, and the people going through them are often left tracking everything across scattered spreadsheets, portals, and paperwork. I set out to build the tool I wished existed: one calm, organized place to understand and manage the whole journey.
Output
A free web platform with a guided checklist, cost tracker, cycle tracker, and document vault — designed to make an opaque process feel understandable and manageable.
The brief
Bring order to an overwhelming process.
Intended parents face a maze of appointments, costs, documents, and decisions with no central place to hold it all. I designed Zygi around calm, clarity, and control: a step-by-step checklist so nothing gets missed, a cost tracker for a process that's as expensive as it is confusing, a cycle tracker to follow the medical timeline, and a secure vault for the mountain of paperwork. I directed every product and design decision — the user flows, the features, the interface — and built it end to end with Claude, which let me take Zygi from concept to live software as a solo designer.
Key moves
01 · Guided checklist to demystify each stage
02 · Cost and cycle tracking in one place
03 · Secure document vault for sensitive paperwork
Clarity for one of life's hardest journeys.
Clarity for one of life's hardest journeys.
Zygi is live, with real intended parents from across the U.S. using it to manage their journeys, turning a fragmented, stressful process into something they can actually see and control. Built solo, from concept to shipped product.
